The
main topic of this
month's meeting
will be the proposed
"Puppy Mill
Cruelty Prevention
Act," which
we hope to have
on the November
ballot. Several
local and national
groups are spearheading
this campaign, but
it will take lots
of individuals to
make it work.

Please join us for this important informational session, where representatives
from the Humane Society
of the US will explain
the proposed law and
train those who want
to help gather signatures.
We need everyone
out there who cares
about the humane treatment
of animals to
pitch in and gather
signatures, to put this
proposition on the November
ballot. If you can't
make this meeting, there
will be an additional
St. Louis training session
the following Saturday,
January 16. It will
take place in the auditorium at
the Humane Society of
MO, 1201 Macklind Ave.,
from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
