CFL Roundtable - Washington DC

Monday, March 1, 2010     10:00am to 2:00pm

The Loews Madison - 1177 15th Street NW

You are cordially invited to the next meeting of the Conference of Fund Leaders

We would like to personally invite you to attend the next meeting of the Conference of Fund Leaders:  March 1, 2010, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.  The meeting will take place at the Loews Madison, 1177 15th Street NW, Washington, DC.  The Conference of Fund Leaders, an initiative co-sponsored by the Forum and the

Yale School of Management's Millstein Center, brings together fund independent chairs and leads to explore leadership issues in a collegial and informal format.

This meeting will explore the unique role of mutual fund chairs and leads in organizing appropriate oversight of risk, particularly enterprise risk.  We will also discuss how fund chairs and leads best identify and obtain satisfactory resolution of problems in the contract renewal process.

Should the Supreme Court issue an opinion in the Jones case, the Conference will explore the impact of the opinion on fund boards.

We would be delighted if you could be part of this important opportunity to discuss the unique issues confronting leaders of today's mutual fund boards.

Sincerely,

John Hill

Chair of the Putnam Funds

Chair, Independent Mutual Fund Leadership Project Millstein Center, Yale School of Management

Peter Clapman
