Synopsis of NRPA 2010 Research Papers Now
Available National Recreation and
Park Association (NRPA) understands that research
is a vital part of moving the field into the future. We also
understand with time being limited you may not get to explore all the research
we have available. As a result we have compiled a comprehensive synopsis
of all five cutting-edge research papers that were released in late 2010.
Reading the Synopsis
will provide you with a quick overview of each research paper, allowing you to
determine which papers are of most value to you. The Synopsis highlights
the latest research on the endless benefits that parks provide to physical
health, mental health, social functioning, youth development, environment, and
the economy. In addition, learn why one-third of the public believes too
little is spent on parks and recreation.
Take
advantage of this simplified research summary, the “Synopsis of 2010 NRPA
Research Papers,” and find out how the research papers will provide
you with insight to the future.
