new Ozark
Community
Center.
The building
is Leadership

and has

2009 the
City of
Republic
purchased
land to
develop
into a new
park. Work
is currently
under way
and a portion
of the park
should be
open soon.
Also, plans
have been
unveiled
for a proposed
Republic
Veterans
Memorial
in Miller
Park. The
goal is
to begin
construction
in August,

now has

playground
that has
been designated
as a NatureGrounds
national
demonstration
site. They
also had
a dedication
ceremony
in May for
their newest

Sac Trailhead.

Votes

Lease
Sportport The
Maryland
Heights
City
Council
approved
the
lease
of
Sportport,
the
city's
outdoor
recreation
comples,
to
Ultimate
Soccer
Arenas
of
Missouri,
LLC
(USA-MO).
The
20-year
lease
includes
a
graduated
annual
rental
fee
and
the
city
will
incur
no
net
costs
during
the
life
of
the
agreement.
